ArtsFest 2019: “Going Wild!”

Lake Charles Civic Center – Exhibition Hall

On Saturday, October 19th, ArtsFest returns to engage area children in a free arts festival at the Lake Charles Civic Center’s Exhibition Hall. This long-running event, hosted annually by the Arts Council of SWLA and the City of Lake Charles, encourages creative expression through hands-on art projects based on this year’s theme of “Going Wild!”

Local organizations and businesses hosts booths where children create fun, creative, and educational pieces of art. Children can take home all of their projects, which cover a wide range of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, and crafts.

ArtsFest is sponsored by the City of Lake Charles, the Arts Council of SWLA, the Junior League of Lake Charles, Hunts Brothers Pizza, Stine Lumber, Nick Reina State Farm, The Art Factory, ASI Office Systems, Image 360, Knight Media, Inc., Pixel & Ink Creative, and the Office of Cultural Development.
