Outdoor Food Vendor Application

The Arts Council of SWLA is hosting the annual Holiday Art Walk, on November 26 from 11 AM to 3 PM. Holiday Art Walk 2022 will showcase great food, music, and an open-air art market, creating a full-fledged arts festival throughout the heart of downtown Lake Charles. We invite you to join us in promoting and selling your cuisine – while keeping 100% of the profits! 

Food vendors may not sell alcoholic beverages of any kind. Electrical access will not be available, so all food vendors will need an independent power source. Extension cords and other necessary equipment are also the vendor’s responsibility. Set-up may begin after street closure at 9 AM, with sales beginning at 11 AM. While participants eat at their own risk, vendors are responsible for upholding all state and regional codes and health regulations.

Extensive marketing for this event includes print advertisements, television promotions, on-site maps, and creative online strategies. To cover these costs, the fee is $100 per vendor space. Email hi-res images of your food, logo, and/or promotional materials for various marketing campaigns to [email protected]There is no guarantee that your photo will be used. We will coordinate on your exact location as we get closer to this event. By signing this registration, you agree to pay the $100 fee. Rain or shine – no refunds. 

Spaces are EXTREMELY limited this year. Confirmed vendors (those that have submitted application and fee) will be assigned to best-possible location.

Outdoor Art Market Vendor Registration

The Arts & Humanities Council of Southwest Louisiana is bringing back the annual Holiday Art Walk, from 11 AM to 3 PM. Holiday Art Walk 2022 will feature area artists, delicious eats, live performances, and an extensive Outdoor Art Market, bringing a full-fledged street-side arts festival to the heart of downtown Lake Charles. 

We invite you to join us and take this opportunity to promote and sell your art/craft.  You are welcome to bring easels, displays, chairs, patio tent, umbrella, and anything else that you may need. Electrical access will be unavailable. Vendors must be “open” from 11-3 PM. 

Extensive marketing for Holiday Art Walk includes print advertisements, on-site maps, creative online strategies, and more. To cover these costs, the registration fee is $50 per vendor space. Vendors will be provided their own 8’ table, but may bring additional tables, easels, etc. to showcase your wares. Each booth space is 10’ wide, so tents and displays must not exceed that length. Maps, setup info, and more details will be provided closer to the event, via email, to confirmed vendors. We will send a diagram of assigned booth numbers a week or two before the event.  

PLEASE provide an email that you will check regularly as this is our primary form of communication. We will confirm receipt of your application. If you do not hear from us within a week after sending, please do reach out. Please turn in your application, pictures, and fee all at once. The deadline for registration is Friday, November 18, 2022. We must receive your form and fee by this day for you to participate.
