Downtown Lake Charles

Outdoor Art Market Registration

The Arts Council of Southwest Louisiana is again hosting the annual Spring Art Walk, and this year we will be expanding this event into an arts showcase we can all be proud of!

Spring Art Walk 2020 will feature area artists in pop-up galleries & downtown businesses, performances & demonstrations, both an adult & a student’s Art War, great food, live entertainment, and an Outdoor Art Market, to create a full-fledged walking arts tour throughout downtown Lake Charles.

Other new introductions to this year’s festivities will include Community Art Projects (where attendees can create or participate in fun activities), plus special initiatives in support of the Complete Streets/Better Blocks program.

We invite you to join us and take this opportunity to promote and sell your art/craft.

Vendors should provide their own table(s) and chairs, along with anything else you may need. You are welcome to bring easels, displays, patio tent, umbrella, and decorations to enhance your space.

Electrical access is not guaranteed and the Arts Council will be unable to provide it.

Vendors should prepare to start selling by 5 p.m., and set-up may begin at 4p.m.

Outdoor Art Market will be located on the 800 block of Ryan Street, between Broad St. and Pujo St.

We will be doing extensive marketing for this event including purchasing advertisements, television promotions, map printing, and awesome online marketing. In order to cover this cost, the fee is $50 per vendor space. This fee will also cover your booth name, as designated below, to be included in the official map which is distributed across the Lake Area.

By submitting this registration, you agree to pay the $50 fee. Rain or shine – no refunds.

Submitting an application does not guarantee participation.

If you do not receive an email confirmation within 2 business days of submitting your application, contact [email protected] or call us at (337) 439-2787.

Questions, comments, and suggestions also welcome.

Link to online fee payment will be sent following application approval.
