The Tourism Marketing Initiative Grant Program is a cultural tourism partnership project funded by the Lake Charles/SWLA Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and administered by the Arts & Humanities Council. Marketing Initiative Grants are intended to enhance the promotion and marketing of our rich cultural programming in Calcasieu Parish.
Marketing Initiative Grants must: (a) provide for the growth of cultural tourism in Calcasieu Parish; (b) improve the overall cultural atmosphere and quality of life for the citizens of Calcasieu Parish; and (c) provide for the stabilization of arts and humanities organizations through increased audience attendance and community participation in projects.

The Arts Council reserves the right to refuse all applications, along with their copies, should these directions not be followed which means you would have to go back and redo your application and make new copies. Please be very observant!!! ALSO, please use the Grantee Checklist on the last page of the application to make sure you have ALL the required documents you need BEFORE you turn in your Grant Application. We do not want to have to disqualify any applications due to missing documents.
